The client's brief was to refurbish and modernise 3 rooms within the Mian Stand at Anfield, the Stadium for Liverpool Football Club, to improve the corporate and hospitality offering for season tickets holders.
The design was provided by the interior designer 2020. Technical advice and information were provided to the contractor to help deliver the design, provided by the interior designer, on-site through to completion.
Inspiration was sought by some of the most famous managers of the club’s history – namely Bob Paisley and Bill Shankly. Red was a clear feature colour which added a freshness and vibrancy. Large scale graphics were provided on the walls a cost effective but evocative way to give each space visual interest.
3-dimensionally soffit panels were created to create further interest in the rooms. Equally, this gave the room depth and a focal point beyond the wall graphics.
The international club room was created to recognise the worldwide status of the club and some of its most famous players. Bespoke lighting, joinery and storage cupboard was created so this room was elevation to the other spaces, reflecting the corporate use.
Works were completed in 2010.
