The apartments in the existing building were completed a few months ago. The apartments in the new build portion took longer due to the works involved below ground and due to the complex roof configuration.
T2S inherited the consent when our client, Klara Homes, purchased the site post planning. Amendments were made to the scheme to refine the design and enhance its Architectural quality.
We decided to extend the windows so that they were flush with the floor and ceiling to create a sense of luxury. The geometry of the roof was simplified to ensure it worked 3-dimensionally.

Planning consent awarded at High Street Berkhamsted. T2S sought design amendments for an inherited planning consent for 4 residential properties. This was T2S' first engagement and involves the refurbishment and extension of an existing building in a traditional Architectural style, with an additional modern extension, accommodating 4 apartments in total. T2S inherited a historic planning consent and sought enhancements to the design in recognition of the sites beautiful surroundings.
