Jessica's mission was to learn as much about Vectorworks' current features as they apply to our workflow, and bring her knowledge of the many improvements and enhancements back to the practice. She was treated to a preview of Vectorworks 2026, and the roadmap for future improvements, including the addition of an AI design assistant, and more advanced exporting and reporting capabilities. Vectorworks' constant development and improvement means that Vectorworks 2026 will also deliver many quality of life improvements such as better depth cueing, object phases to help streamline demolition and reuse management, and smarter Enhanced Site Models.
Maintaining and expanding our understanding of the software we use, and Vectorworks in particular, is a critical activity, and the Vectorworks Design Day is a fantastic chance to listen and speak to the people developing it. Jessica was able to return to T2S Architecture with a greater understanding of the changes and improvements in the pipeline, and new ways for us to work with existing functionality.
